North Texas Jellystone Park is located 15 minutes south of downtown Fort Worth and 40 minutes west of Dallas. The Ranch has 37 cottages (25 of the cottages have 2 person spa and fireplace) and 248 RV sites. All of the RV sites have full hookups, 50 amp, phone and cable connection.
When you walk into one of these rooms, your jaw will drop open. You will feel like you just walked into a bedroom in a million dollar home. The decor was tastefully done in a rustic Spanish / Western / Cowboy / Southwestern theme, everything seemed new and state of the art, and the room was impeccable clean.
The spacious cottage has a lot of little things that add up quickly to make it special, unique, and worth another stay, some of which included:
- some of the softest fluffiest beds you will ever sleep in with comforters and not just one each but two soft fluffy pillows each plus a spare.
- textured walls with unique and different fixtures and decorations - for example a mirrored antique door hanging on the wall or clay vases of different shapes and sizes on the mantle as well as a tall shelf along the ceiling
- large white Austin stone floor to ceiling gas fireplace with a cool wood mantle
- 42 inch flat screen TV and Direct HD TV
- microwave, coffee maker with pottery coffee mugs (not those cheap paper cups), upscale refrigerator plus free peanuts, crackers, and microwave butter popcorn
- a desk with multiple, easy to reach plugs, plenty of workspace, free internet, phone, and a comfy chair
- cowhide and leather chairs and a table - our adjoining room with two doubles also had a very nice leather lounge chair and ottoman
- plenty of closet, counter, and drawer space including multiple clothes hooks
And then there is the roomy bathroom that seems more like a bathroom in a guest room at a very upscale house instead of in a small cottage. The bathroom also consists of a two person spa, stand alone shower, large soft fluffy towels, hair dryer, and telescoping mirror.
When you stay in one of these custom built cottages, you also have full access to all of the amenities of North Texas Jellystone, some of which include: 2 family pools with a kiddie pool, playground, 4 fantastic meeting facilities, and more. Plus you are close to lots of fun things to see and do in Fort Worth and Burleson like golf, shopping, restaurants, museums, amusement parks, Cowboy Stadium, the Ranger's Ballpark, and lots more.
There is plenty to do while you are staying with us. The Texas Motor Speedway is 30 minutes north, while the Fort Worth Stockyards are just 15 minutes north of the Ranch. If you want to catch the Dallas Cowboys game or the Texas Rangers you have only a 40 minute drive. Just 15 minutes drive and you can visit some of Fort Worth's best art museums. Six Flags over Texas and Hurricane Harbor water park are only a short 35 minute drive.
